The classic Volkswagen done right.
A winter drive with two Alpine equipped Porsches.
Advanced warning: this article is photo heavy. Rather than harping on too much about my beloved Majorette and Schuco, I think these two are cool enough to let their looks do the talking. There's something very cool about fast cars with roof racks. And these two have tapped into that perfectly. This feature has been …

The iconic 300SL done by Schuco
Lamley Daily: Schuco Edition 1:64 Lamborghini Huracan
I am a fan of this for multiple reasons. I collect Lamborghinis in 1:64 scale, Schuco’s toolings are excellent, and this color green is perfect for a Lambo.
GTI club: the Schuco Mk1 and TLVN Mk2 Golf GTIs
A side by side with these two has been on the cards since I did a comparison with the two Mk1 Golfs from Schuco and Greenlight back in February. I'm bringing the Schuco car back this time for a head to head with the Mk2 GTI from Tomica's Limited Vintage Neo line.
Lamley Daily: Schuco BMW 2800
It's hard to put my finger on just why I love this old Schuco but love it I do. I'm not sure I even recall where I got it from. But it's always been close to hand, on show somewhere.
Anyone for Golf? The Schuco and Greenlight Golf Mk1s.
Some posts just spring into my head even before I have got the models in my hands. This was one of them. When Modelmatic restocked I jumped on this pair. They looked the bomb in pictures and they're even better when they're infront of you. First of all a little background on the Golf. Conceived …

Don’t burst my bubble – the Schuco BMW Isetta (and some Japanese visitors)
So as promised I'm back again with a visit to the miniature world of Schuco. And miniature is a fitting word considering the size of my subject today. Say hello to the BMW Isetta. The Isetta started life in 1953 not as a BMW, but as a product of the Italian company Iso. Revealed at …

The other 1/64 Unimog – the Schuco 604 Series
For all the praise Mattel rightfully received for the brilliant Hot Wheels Unimog 1300 castings they released in 2018, it may have been easy to miss the other Unimog that appeared around the same time: Schuco's amazing 604 Series. Trying not to use too much hyperbole is a skill in writing articles, and I think …

The Schuco 1/64 MiJo Exclusives are now out, and available at SURPLUSgoodies.

Schuco 1/64 is coming to the US. Here is a look.
I say "Schuco", many of you European collectors know what I am talking about, as will many of the more hardcore collectors in the US. Schuco delves into several diecast scales, and does a damn good job at all of them. For our purposes, 1/64 is where to focus. And it is a good thing, …

Guest Post: Cold War Classics Made in West Germany: The beautiful 1:66 diecast of Schuco (by Graham Heeps)
It has been awhile since we have had a guest post here on Lamley, but I am always game, especially when the post relates to models I don't collect. That means we could have endless guest posts, so if you have an idea, send it over. Graham Heeps is one of those collectors with a …
