This week's Matchbox blog report takes us on a journey through the second batch of Working Rigs for 2026. With only 5 models, and not much to dive back, I added in another mini dive of classic models.

This week's Matchbox blog report brings us the first half of a large 5th batch of 2026 basic range models. Is it batch E?

Batch B of the Matchbox 2026 Moving Parts series is supposed to have a Super Chase. It was scheduled. However, it has proven to be almost impossible to find. Nobody seems to have it. It took me a while to hunt down a single example, the only one I have seen. Which means, I am able to run through the entire batch.

This week's Matchbox report continues on with the second half of the 4th batch of 2026 basic range models, including the latest Super Chase. Still no Target Red. Hmm! I added a little bonus dive as it was short.

This week's Matchbox report sees me running through the second batch of the 2026 Collectors series. This is a heavy batch.

This week sees me make a start on the 4th batch of the 2026 Matchbox basic range. It is just 5 models long, as the batch consists of 10 in total.

This week sees me tackle the first half of the second batch of Matchbox basic range models. There were 10 in the batch, so it just went over my limit for doing them all in one go. It makes for a shorter report. But, as last week was shorter as well, it sort of fits in.

This week, my Matchbox Monday article showcases the first Walmart exclusive (in the USA, other countries may have them in other stores). For 2026, Matchbox appears to have really stepped up their exclusives game.

The second half of the first batch of 2026 basic range models is the subject of this week's Matchbox blog. And this includes all the new castings that debuted in this batch.

I think that the first batch of the Matchbox 2026 Moving Parts series is possibly my favourite batch of the year. So much good stuff in it. I can't wait to see if they can prove me wrong.

Yes, it's time to make a start on the 2026 Matchbox model year. As I tend to do, I will begin with some basic range models. Only half, as there was a lot in the batch.
