This week, my attention turns to the 8th batch of the Matchbox basic range for 2026. Sadly, still no Target Red, although this should be resolved by next year. But, we do have an entire batch to run through this week.

It's about time I got back into the Matchbox 2026 Moving Parts series, as batch D will only bring us halfway through the model year. I got a little behind. Catch up!

Matchbox: The Movie is just over a month away from debuting on Apple TV. October 9. I have the day off work. I am planning on watching it day 1. To whet our appetites, let's get on with half of the single issues made for the movie.

This week's Matchbox blog report has me running through the 4th Walmart exclusive batch of the 2026 model year. That is, if you live in the USA. Other countries have different scenarios allowing different stores to order them.

This week sees me running through the third Matchbox Collectors batch of 2026, which consists of another 5 models, one with a fun variation.

I return back to normality now, as I return to where I was, and finish up batch H of the 2026 basic range. Which, as we know, is actually the 7th batch of 2026. So, you know what that means. There's a Super Chase!

It is time for me to recap the events of the Matchbox 24th Gathering in 2026, and run through everything that is a part of the 2027 Line Preview.

This week sees me tackle the first batch of Matchbox promotional models, that all appeared at the Gathering in Albuquerque last week. Plus, as there are only 3, I added in the Movie Chase set for added fun. The trailer is out!

This week's Matchbox blog report sees me returning to the USA Walmart exclusives (which can be found in other stores in other countries), for the 3rd batch of the year. Super Cars!

This week's Matchbox report makes a start on the 7th basic range batch of 2026, which means we are now over half the way through the model year.

With a certain movie coming out in the next few months, Matchbox have been putting out a range of movie related models. These are the first ones I will review, being the Moving Parts sub-set of models.

As I have mentioned a few times, the batches for the 2026 Matchbox basic range have gone slightly out of alignment. We are now up to the 6th batch of 2026, which is actually designated as batch G on outer packaging. It is not the biggest of batches, so I am able to run through the entire set in one go.

This week's Matchbox blog report sees me running through the third Moving Parts batch of 2026. A small group of only 5 models. But, still a joy to get. I am a big Moving Parts fan.

This week sees me finishing the large batch of 15 models that made up the 5th mix of the 2026 Matchbox basic range. 9 appeared under the E moniker, but then the other 6 were swiftly added, and they altered the packaging to say F.

This week's Matchbox blog report takes us on a journey through the second batch of Working Rigs for 2026. With only 5 models, and not much to dive back, I added in another mini dive of classic models.

Batch B of the Matchbox 2026 Moving Parts series is supposed to have a Super Chase. It was scheduled. However, it has proven to be almost impossible to find. Nobody seems to have it. It took me a while to hunt down a single example, the only one I have seen. Which means, I am able to run through the entire batch.

This week's Matchbox report continues on with the second half of the 4th batch of 2026 basic range models, including the latest Super Chase. Still no Target Red. Hmm! I added a little bonus dive as it was short.
