It is pretty obvious that Hot Wheels Pop Culture isn't my thing. I have featured the models in the past, but ultimately they are not models that interest me much. I appreciate the art and premium-ness of the releases, but I doubt I will see too many ornate classic trucks driving down the street with … Continue reading M2/Coke in two parts: The models, the packaging, and the Chases.
I am still all in on M2's Auto-Japan series. Sure, they have done the same three castings - but all with M2-esque mods - but they have done them all right. The decos follow interesting themes, stay connected, and most importantly, look really good. I just found the next set of Auto-Japan at Walmart, and … Continue reading The second MiJo Exclusives Auto-Japan set from M2 Machines is now out.
After work yesterday I decided to take a quick jaunt to Las Vegas to visit my good friend Jay Kho. We made a video - coming later this week - and dined on Korean food. The only reason I am telling you this is that my trip back ended up being quite fruitful. I rarely … Continue reading Well that was a fun day.
It has been a few weeks since the New York Toy Fair ended, but there is one thing I want to make sure gets shown here. Coke and M2. And it's cool. My friend Tim Pagano from MVE Collectibles was there, and he was able to take some pics of the upcoming M2/Coca-Cola collaboration, and … Continue reading M2 Machines previewed their cool new Coca-Cola line at the NY Toy Fair. Here is a look.
The last few days has been a toy fest in NYC. February means the New York Toy Fair, which is a massive gathering of toymakers and retail reps, previewing all that is to come. Every year a good friend of mine, Tim Pagano of MVE Collectibles, heads over to check out all the goodies, and … Continue reading M2 Machines previews Auto-Japan Series 2 at the New York Toy Fair
I've said it before, and the rule continues. I am ALL IN on M2 Machines Auto-Japan. As space for my collection keeps dwindling, I have to be very specific in what I collect. And with M2's prolific output, I need to be extra picky. They made it easy with the launch of Auto-Japan. Taking my … Continue reading M2 Machines unveils it’s latest 1/24 scale Datsun 510. I wish they would stop making me want these larger scale models.
This is a release I had to write about. M2 Machines releasing a new Auto-Trucks mix is not necessarily huge news. But when the new Chevrolet C60 is part of that set, it's news. At least for me. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bbcuk7uB2M6/?taken-by=m2machines My approach to M2 is simple. Pursue all the Auto-Japan, and snag all the other models … Continue reading The latest M2 Machines Auto-Trucks is out. I’m staring at the new Chevrolet C60
These were made available today at the M2 booth at SEMA: Nissan C10 Skyline, done in a special livery for SEMA, and only 600 regular and 300 Chase models. The cases were being gobbled up, and for good reason. These are gorgeous. More on these later. Thanks to Jay Kho for the pics.
I am sure the folks at M2 will really love the fact that I am starting a post about their stuff by mentioning a line from Hot Wheels. But Sean & crew, stay with me. You will like what I am going to write. I am very excited about the upcoming Car Culture Japan Historics … Continue reading I’m locked in with Auto-Japan from M2 Machines. LOCKED. IN.
Will everyone stop making such awesome stuff!?! This is getting really hard to keep up with. A month ago I was all about M2's new Auto-Japan, then Auto World sent over the Lead Sled, plus I've been hunting Red Editions, and JCCS is coming, and the Hot Wheels Convention, and HW Modern Classics is coming. … Continue reading M2 Machines unveils Auto-Japan Series 2, upcoming 1/24 scale Datsun 510
