This week I check out the second batch of Walmart exclusive models for the USA, although they are also found in other countries at various outlets.

Batch D. With or without a Super Chase means you have to chase. Jeez! I did a bit. Luckily, I have everything from this Matchbox batch, and can finish off showcasing them. They don't make it easy.

Matchbox Working Rigs batches are usually small. So, I decided to add a little extra to this batch of them. Mattel Creations have not exactly been doing a lot of Matchbox lately. So far in 2025, we have seen 1. And it's May! I am waiting patiently for the new Audi casting. It has to arrive eventually. In fact, as I write, I think it is about to arrive! Woohoo!

The third batch of 2025 Matchbox Moving Parts brings us 1 new casting and a handful of new looks. It's still a fun batch.

Back to the basics. I worked out, if I keep splitting Matchbox basic range batches in 2, then they will need to be showcased every 2–3 weeks to keep pace. I may even do 2 in a row. I haven't figured out that far ahead yet. But, for now, enjoy the first half of batch D.

Leipzig 2025 will be going ahead as normal this year, running alongside the Modell-Hobby-Spiel event at the start of October. Dirk is getting ready to open up registration shortly, so here are some tidbits for people, along with a registration auction.

Matchbox has been adding a number of electric vehicles into their portfolio, as part of their overall mission to go greener by 2030.

This week, I return to the modern stuff, by finishing off the batch I started just before Easter. But, I added a little bonus model on the end.

Another break from the usual look at new Matchbox items. As I stopped doing my weekly dives, due to work commitments, I occasionally take a week to just pull out some older items for fun. I hope you enjoy my choices this time.

Another basic range batch, and another set of models I am only showing half of so far. The rest will come in a few weeks. This is the 2025 batch C first half of Matchbox.

Is it me, or are the 2025 Moving Parts batches coming out thick and fast? We only get 8 batches through the year (I wish it was more), and we appear to be getting a batch almost every month. This is the second of the batches for 2025, which I did need to do a little chasing.

It's about time I made a start on the Walmart exclusive items for 2025. The first set we saw was the Truck series, featuring only 5 models, but still we get 3 exclusives. I prefer this method with a higher percentage of exclusive content. Hopefully it means less peg warming.

The first batch of 2025 Working Rigs includes a brand new casting. As is often the case, we see a mix of new stuff and carry forwards in the batch.

The second half of the second batch of 2025 is up and (hopefully) in one piece. I think I will be doing a number of batch splits. Especially when they have extra additions, like this batch did.

As has been the case for a number of years, Matchbox is keeping the Moving Parts series at 50, and it is split into 8 batches through the year. This week is the first batch of 2025.

As some basic range batches are quite larger, if there are a double-digit amount of new stuff to look at, I am splitting the report into 2.

I head in to the premium side of Matchbox as the first batch of 5 Collectors models arrived, including a delayed new casting.

Batch A of the 2025 Matchbox basic range gives us another Super Chase, as well as a few new castings.

This is it. My final review of anything from 2024. As of next week, I will be fully focused on the 2025 Matchbox offerings.
