Here is a written run down of the 2026 line preview as shown by the Matchbox team in Albuquerque at the end of July.
Matchbox Monday gets going on batch G
This week sees me working my way through the first half of the Matchbox basic range batch G, which does include a Super Chase, which Wheel Collectors had in as well.

Matchbox Monday whips up a Walmart??? adventure
How is Walmart doing with the Matchbox store exclusives? I am hearing stories of some stores barely even being in this year's assortments. The first batch appeared fairly widespread, but batch B has not been seen in many stores. Batch C? Is it lost in a jungle somewhere?
Matchbox Monday flips up the rest of batch F (almost)
This week, I return to the realms of the Matchbox basic range, and deliver up the rest of the 6th batch of 2025. Except, I am only dealing with the models that were sent by Wheel Collectors. There is something missing.
Matchbox Monday casually whips up another Creation with Working Rigs C
Working Rigs often come in batches of 4. These tend to make my Matchbox blog posts run a little short. So, as I did with the last of the batches I ran through, I added in the latest Mattel Creations release as well.
Matchbox Monday flirts with the first half of batch F
Matchbox batch F is a little too large for me to tackle in one go, so I have split it in 2 again. The first half comes up now, and the other half should be with us before I head off to the USA for my annual trip.
Matchbox Monday delves into a dynamic Moving Parts batch D
This year's Moving Parts series continues to offer us a total of 50 models, and an additional 4 Super Chases along the way. Sadly, Wheel Collectors never got the chase in this batch. But, I still managed to source one to finish the article.
Matchbox Monday electrifies us with the entire E batch
We are back on the basic range for 2025, as I move into the 5th batch of Matchbox for the year.
Matchbox Monday goes a little sporty
This week I check out the second batch of Walmart exclusive models for the USA, although they are also found in other countries at various outlets.
Matchbox Monday digs up the rest of Batch D
Batch D. With or without a Super Chase means you have to chase. Jeez! I did a bit. Luckily, I have everything from this Matchbox batch, and can finish off showcasing them. They don't make it easy.
Matchbox Monday bloats out the Working Rigs Batch B with another Creation
Matchbox Working Rigs batches are usually small. So, I decided to add a little extra to this batch of them. Mattel Creations have not exactly been doing a lot of Matchbox lately. So far in 2025, we have seen 1. And it's May! I am waiting patiently for the new Audi casting. It has to arrive eventually. In fact, as I write, I think it is about to arrive! Woohoo!
Matchbox Monday commits to Moving Parts batch C
The third batch of 2025 Matchbox Moving Parts brings us 1 new casting and a handful of new looks. It's still a fun batch.
Matchbox Monday delivers the first half of batch D
Back to the basics. I worked out, if I keep splitting Matchbox basic range batches in 2, then they will need to be showcased every 2–3 weeks to keep pace. I may even do 2 in a row. I haven't figured out that far ahead yet. But, for now, enjoy the first half of batch D.

Matchbox Monday completes batch C with some candy
This week, I return to the modern stuff, by finishing off the batch I started just before Easter. But, I added a little bonus model on the end.
Matchbox Monday dives back into the collection VII
Another break from the usual look at new Matchbox items. As I stopped doing my weekly dives, due to work commitments, I occasionally take a week to just pull out some older items for fun. I hope you enjoy my choices this time.
The Weekly 5-Pack: April 14, 2025 Edition
Hot Wheels is set to drop $167 worth of new releases on Creations this week, IXO hits the streets of Long Beach for their IndyCar release, chase models in the Silver Line, and more in this week's 5-Pack
Matchbox Monday continues cutting basics in half with batch C
Another basic range batch, and another set of models I am only showing half of so far. The rest will come in a few weeks. This is the 2025 batch C first half of Matchbox.
Matchbox Monday brings us Moving Parts batch B
Is it me, or are the 2025 Moving Parts batches coming out thick and fast? We only get 8 batches through the year (I wish it was more), and we appear to be getting a batch almost every month. This is the second of the batches for 2025, which I did need to do a little chasing.
Matchbox Monday works its way through the Walmart trucks 2025 series
It's about time I made a start on the Walmart exclusive items for 2025. The first set we saw was the Truck series, featuring only 5 models, but still we get 3 exclusives. I prefer this method with a higher percentage of exclusive content. Hopefully it means less peg warming.
