I have a rule at the moment. I hit double digits, I split a batch of Matchbox. Well, Batch E of the basic range, kindly sent over to me by Wheel Collectors, just squeezed in. It has 9 models. So, I sat down and did a blog about them all in one go. Phew! My spare time is not as much as it was, so I am glad I managed to get them all done okay. A third of the batch consists of new castings. A good ratio. I hope people enjoy the read. As usual, if you click here, you will be taken to my Matchbox Monday section of the Wheel Collectors website to read all the articles I have been doing recently.

Unthinkable in previous years that 2025 has seen NO new batches actually missed. A B E D F G and C all turning up at various UK stockists. Lest may it continue!
You have seen batches G & C? I have not heard of either of these batches popping up anywhere.
I’ve found batch G locally (Notts/Lincs) in The Entertainer, Tesco (same source obviously) and also Poundland. Some carry-over from F though not seen the Jaguar XJ6C, also not found the BMW 7 series from batch G. Still looking! Definitely not seen batch C though again some carry-overs where D appeared.
I have now found remnants of batch G (U08) at Poundland and also remnants (U11) at Tesco. With a 3-week difference between production runs, I might see if I can find any shades.
As MJGraham states Case G is now appearing at Tescotainer and Poundland. Case F is also appearing at Poundland at the same time with the Jaguar XJ6C and Opel Corsa.
Case C with the white Acura has been spotted at B&M Bargains.
B&M for batch C? I have only seen batch B in the ones around near me. I will continue to check them.
Thanks, looks like more visits to Poundland!
For what it’s worth, Boyes stores have some odds and sods from 2024, mostly cases J 7 K including the black Radical and purple Golf. Not seen any Anglias yet though! Models are on long cards with Chinese stickers
Cheers yeah I spotted those at my local Boyes some months back alongside the older batch with the blue Jaguar XC6J. Decent prices too.
I had not heard of Boyes. Turns out it is a little north of where I am, so I doubt I will get there.
