If you are a Matchbox fan, you know what this is. It’s that time of the year again, when Dirk Schleuer will be opening the doors for registration for the upcoming Leipzig convention, which runs alongside the Annual Modell-Hobby-Spiel. As he did for 2024, he has added a little extra to the registration process. An auction. 10 Matchbox items will be available for the first few weeks through auction, and these will be listed below. This will begin as soon as registration starts, which will be midnight Berlin time (GMT+2) as the start of Saturday 17th May. Which is less than a week from when I have put this up, giving people time to prepare. But the auction will cease at the start of June. I will let Dirk explain better.
Please note, you will also need to email Dirk at @info@moyshop.de to get the registration form and send it back to that email address. We do not supply forms at Lamley or collect filled in registrations.
I hope it all makes sense. Basically, when he starts registration at midnight, Saturday 17th May, he will be opening up the auction. However, you don’t have to register to take part in the auction. He is allowing everybody worldwide to participate. However, as I always say, remember to make any bids direct to Dirk at his email address listed. Never leave a bid as a reply here. Also, I always try to remind everyone that when the auction is due to finish, it will be Berlin time (GMT +2). Please make sure you know what the difference is between that time, and your own time zone. And finally, remember it is in Euros, not in other currencies. Auction R02 – MB1205 Alfa Romeo Giulia 2019 preproduction in plain red (before it was printed up with full Toy Fair detailing)
Auction R03 – MB1040 Duk-Duk 3D print from 2016, before production began in 2017.
Auction R04 – MB913 Mound Mover 2015 basic and 5-pack FEP in green with dual ring 8-dot wheels (production was found with these or large 8-spokes).
