Batch D of the 2025 Moving Parts series is very UK-centric. These are not the entire batch. But, they do make up two-thirds of the regular releases. It is such a shame that the UK doesn’t want to sell these in many places. People want them. When they go on pegs, they go off pegs rather fast. I have no idea why UK toy stockists keep ignoring them. Anyway, enough of a rant. Happily, Wheel Collectors do get Moving Parts in, and they always send them my way so that I can write up my reports. Hence, me putting the reports up on their website. Sadly, they never got the Super Chase in their assortments. But, I don’t let that stop me, and still managed to get one. As usual, if you click here, it will take you to my Matchbox Monday section of their site. I hope you enjoy my latest ramblings.

You are right to have a rant David. Last year seemed like many UK collectors such as Sainsbury’s and The Entertainer had got it right getting in Moving Parts and getting in new batches in a timely fashion. Despite their fairly salty price point of just over £4 they were clearly selling well.
Yes, that was the daftest part. They brought them in, they sold quickly, yet they still ended up dropping them. The UK is really struggling to find anybody who wants to sell these. Yet, the consumer (us) is begging for them. It makes absolutely no sense.
Would certainly be a pity that we UK diecast fans would have to miss out. Especially so if there’s that most British of motors, the Morris Minor 1000 (drophead version) amongst the cars!
