What is going on with Walmart? They ask for Matchbox exclusive content, and then they struggle to put new ones out. Maybe there are some pegwarmers holding things up. The move to 5 models in a set, with 2 being carry forwards instead of 6 with 3 was partly due to this. You know, because carry forwards are often slower at selling. Anyway, I sourced these from elsewhere, as luckily, the Walmart USA exclusive content is allowed to be sold to other countries. Some take them up on their offer (the UK doesn’t, except years ago when Asda took the Land Rover set). So, this is technically going to be referred to as the Walmart batch C, but as it stands, I am not sure if Walmart even has them. Mind you, I will soon know, as when this goes live, I am heading off to the USA for my annual pilgrimage to the Albuquerque convention. I will see for myself just what Walmart is like.
