Matchbox Monday starts the 2024 premium products

This week’s Matchbox blog article is sponsored by the colour blue. Seriously. So much blue. As is the case, you will find this over on the Wheel Collectors website in my little corner of their website. I hope you enjoy my latest showcase, as I begin my journey through the 2024 premium content. You can click here to go to my blog page, with a list of all my articles. I really hope this latest report doesn’t leave you feeling too blue. Enjoy.

  1. I do love the idea of premium aimed Matchbox but unfortunately outside of the US they can often cost as much as £10. At that price they are in competition with better and cheaper rivals such as Majorette.

  2. Yesterday was a good day for me, i was able to buy some models from Matchbox Moving Parts mix 3 with absolutely amazing 1978 Ford Bronco and 1970 Amc Javelin, oh and Vw Fastback was there too. I consider myself lucky because i found them at the right place at the right time, i was first to grab them so to speak. still there’s much to be desired as it was the only shop to sell them, distribution as a whole is pretty much dead, those models i bought yesterday are my first models of 2024 can You imagine ?, we have May around the corner right. Hot Wheels on the other hand is abundant and everywhere, all of this thanks to aggressive dominance, Matchbox barely exists at this point, or maybe it’s just me being unlucky to live in area, but i have friends allover the country and they confirm what i already know 🙁
