Why I am featuring it: This is one of those “one and done” castings… well, sort of. It was used in the 1984 Mainline in the Real Rider sub-series. It came in two variations: grey hub Real Riders and the less common white hub Real Riders. After that, it had a Mexico only release in the same deco with white hubs however it had a white interior/three-wheeler piece and it is pretty rare and hard to find. Then it was never used again… until it was retooled for the 2012 Hot Ones series. That retool was also put out in 2014 in the Walmart Road Trippin’ series and then has not been seen since. It is a quirky little car/pickup thing. The real vehicle was not very popular and this casting may not be either but I think it is rad.
This was one of my childhood favorites. Mine came from the factory without the front post spun so it had to be held together with tape. I lost track of it in the last few years and one I’d love to find again.

Crazy thing I just sold an actual 1983 2.2 Rampage with only one owner just two weeks ago. Cool car!
Reminds me of the a Matchbox pickup with 2 yellow bikes in the back. Loved that as a kid.
