Oh, this is definitely super. Yes, we have another Walmart batch of Matchbox cars to run through. I am loving that we have a set known as Super Cars. Mattel have often been trying to figure out how to differentiate between the Matchbox brand, and their other. It is tough. Both now have a massive history. They don’t want to sell the Matchbox brand off to a rival. It could turn into a bigger rival, where at the moment, it is definitely still the little brother of their own. We have a much more limited portfolio within the Matchbox brand, which is in a way, quite useful. I don’t have to spend an absolute fortune just getting the new stuff. However, as Wheel Collectors don’t get these in, I do have to reach further out in my quest to get them. Which does cost me a little more. It is a shame that the UK does not sell these. In fact, the UK sells very little. Not just with Matchbox, but across the whole toy range. I go abroad and am stunned by just how much can be found. Okay, that has been limited to the USA, Canada, France and Germany. But, I do feel the UK is way behind those 4 countries with choices for kids. Anyway, enough tangents, I am still posting this on the Wheel Collectors website, and if you click here, it will take you to my Matchbox Monday section to check all my reports. And, yes, next week, I aim to have a certain Line Preview prepared.
