Why I am featuring it: GL “dioramas” are usually a good value and contain cars that are not sold as single packs. Usually they will have 4 or 5 cars and some accessories. This one has some solid castings in it. Since I like vans the casting I needed from this was obviously the GMC Vandura. Greenlight makes the best full size vans in 1/64 scale and I am a bit of a completionist when it comes to them (except for the chases).
The other three vehicles in this set are pretty nice too. The Dodge Charger in a classic racing deco looks really nice and so does the Shelby GT350R. The tow truck is cool too and it rounds out the set. The “extras” for this set are fairly minimal as they usually are. You get a small tire display and a Michelin man.
The Charger is one of the very best GL castings there is. Without the steamroller tires it could pass for an AW.
