Alright, here we go. It is that time of year. I’ll refrain from mentioning all the traditional elements of the holiday season, and just cut to the chase: Diecast Deals galore are coming.
It will be my job to give you the heads up on certain deals, whenever I find out about them, and I will do my best to pass them on. But there are two that have become holiday traditions that you need to be aware of.
The first is the massive Tomica Limited Vintage “Damaged Box” Sale at Japan Booster. The folks at JB save all the damaged box TLV – mint model, slightly damaged box – for this sale, and deals on definitely to be had. They have done it on Black Friday for several years now, and the models typically sell out in minutes. I have all the details for this year’s event, and will share it in a separate post shortly.
But for now, turn your attention to Wheel Collectors. Starting at 11am Central Time Tuesday, Wheel Collectors will be dropping a slew of deals, mostly on Hot Wheels Premium and Real Riders models. Car Culture, Pop Culture, Entertainment, you name it. Real Rider models new and old will be available at major discounts.
I dubbed it a “Real Riders Sale” based on what the folks at Wheel Collectors showed me, but they are running with “Holiday Sale”, which makes more sense. There is simply a ton of good stuff going up.
And you need to be ready. Some of the items listed starting at 11am will be the remnants of their inventory, and will be in really small numbers. They will go fast.
