Why it’s in the collection: It’s not. But the Lamley Daily is also for models like this. I remember watching the movie with my girls, and being somewhat amused. The car is cool, and I am sure many of you wanted to see some pics, whether you want to buy the car or not.

As a very, very “selective” Hot Wheels collector (I probably buy one HW casting for every 100 Matchbox models…), this is one of those things HW does that is just too clever and cool…and HAS to come home with me. Hope I see it on pegs soon…

I’m afraid scalpers will go after this one and then sell it to overseas buyers on eBay… or to local buyers on a local auction site at 5 times their price. Even more if they buy them on rebate as has happenned more than once… (usual price at the stores here is about $2.50, with rebate it can be $1.50 or even $1 sometimes, scalpers sell them for $10-$15 or more)
