Why it’s in the collection: Because it’s a near perfect Ferrari model…er…kit. Don’t call it a model. It is technically a model kit. Kyosho can still make Ferraris by calling them model kits and packaging them unassembled.
How ever they are made, most Kyosho Ferraris are worth having, and some go even beyond. This 458 Speciale does, especially in white. Kyosho did it all right. Blue trim – that is stock deco – and dark rims.
I love the variety a collection can have. Putting a Ferrari like this next to an Auto World Wagon, a TLV Cedric, or a Tarmac Works Audi is what makes collecting models like this so fun.
Beautiful model! The only thing wrong with this is the windshield which is too high. Otherwise its one of the most perfect Speciale replicas I’ve seen. Also the white with blue stripes combination looks epic! Way better than the usual red.
