It has been a while, like an eternity. But collecting Tomica Limited Vintage is always the same joy. It is still not cheap, but totally worth it. For this late 2024 update, I’ve chosen 5 models I dit not want to miss, that I propose to show you quickly below.

Nissan Silvia Q’s TypeS (white and blue)

It’s an S14 from 1993-1995 that I instantly wanted since the announcements. One for the blue color (one of those incredible paints that TLV has the secret of) and one for the 5 spokes wheels. Both were necessary. For information, a silver and a black version are available for pre-order. TLV really did not miss this one with a very delicate mold, precise headlights and tail lights, double exhaust and even sound system on the rear. I really appreciate this gen of Silvia, so 90’s Japanese coupe. (Available on JapanBooster)

Honda Civic Shuttle 56i (gold)

This Shuttle based on a Honda Civic is a rather new mold that I wanted to try and the color + wheels choice + tan interior made me have it. Again, the paint is amazing. It’s just surprising that the foot wells are not contrasted in maroon like the drawing on the box. The Honda very ugly monospace is one of those cars I couldn’t care less about, but that execution got me. I totally like this kind of cars in my TLV displays. I do think the brand has better making these kind of very stock cars that racing or too modern cars.

Toyota Mark II Grande (Silver)
Typically the kind of stock sedans I like to collect from the brand. Big sedans of 90’s or late 90’s that are absolutely of non interest but so cool. I’ve built a nice collection of TLV big sedans. Here are some companions to this new Toyota Mark II Grande.

Mugen CR-X Pro (silver)

This little boxy coupe is a famous car from TLV and this new iteration in Mugen sauce is very welcome. Modified mold from the other CR-X I have, large fenders, special wheels, inscriptions on the windshield and lower body, I just like it too much. A white version also exists.
For all your Tomica Limited Vintage cars, I advice you to go to Japan Booster on eBay.
