Lamley Daily: Kyosho Lamborghini Espada

Model: Lamborghini Espada

Release: Kyosho Lamborghini Minicar Collection 2

Ebay Link: Kyosho Lamborghini Espada

Why I am featuring it: I discovered that the Lamborghini Espada was a thing from watching Doug DeMuro on YouTube. He went over all of the quirks and features of this lesser-known Lambo. I had to search for one in 1/64 scale after watching the episode. Of course, Kyosho made one and I had to have it. It is a really unique looking Lamborghini and that makes it interesting to me. I have a lot of 1/64 scale Lamborghini’s made by Kyosho and this is one of my favorites. It is also available in silver and in red but I think the blue is the color to get as it is fairly uncommon to see a Lamborghini in this color.

If you are not familiar with Kyosho Minicars. Here is what to expect. They are metal body/plastic base construction. The tires are rubber and they typically roll. They also will almost always have inserted pieces for the headlights and taillights. They are also out of print so the best place to find them is on eBay. Be careful because if you like detailed diecast, going though the back catalog of Kyosho can get expensive quick.

  1. I love the Espada! Such a whacky car from Lamborghini. I wish Lamborghini had made a modern follow-up to the Espada, something that would go head-to-head with the Ferrari FF/GTC4 but instead they made that ugly piece of trash Urus. Damn SUVs.

I hope Hot Wheels or Matchbox will also make one of these so I can have one in my collection without going bankrupt.
