Why I am featuring it: Greenlight hasn’t put flames on cars in awhile. This Up in Flames series came out in 2008. The series featured muscle cars with various different styles of flame paint jobs. The flames and color of this GTO might be a little loud for some however I think this car looks badass. Especially photographed on a black background. The casting is pretty nice as well and Greenlight still uses it.
I have an older red and black gl goat convertible that may have been the first or one of the first gl releases. It was nice to get on that scaled well with the hw collection I have but without the hw stance. JL makes some of the best goats, especially the 64. I wonder if gl has a hardtop. I will have to look and see. The new hw premium 66 gto is nice as a kind of exaggerated low rider and it would be nice to seem the cast used again with a low rider motif. I will try and find that gl one with flames to use as a night light.
