Why I am featuring it: I am a Firebird collector (in 1/64 at least) so this is obviously a must-have for me. The ‘77 Firebird T/A is, in my opinion, the best Firebird tooling from Hot Wheels. The casting was released really only a handful of times since its debut release in the 2008 Modern Classics series including a couple of mainline releases. The premium releases of this casting can get pricey and for good reason. I have all of them except for the most iconic release which is the Smokey and the Bandit Retro Entertainment release. I hope to add that to my collection sometime but this Cool Classics version is my favorite. The Spectrafrost blue color is just beautiful. Yes the Cool Classics lacked Real Riders and full deco but there is something awesome about the Spectrafrost paint and the tasteful retro look to the graphics.
