The Tomica Premium Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette released in 2019 is no doubt one of the best Tomica Premium casting with ultra realistic details. Sure it doesn’t have the opening features and rubber wheelset unlike the hefty price Tomica Limited Vintage version but it has tons of sharp features such as plastic headlights, plastic rear wing, realistic wheelset unlike the mainline and a huge front spoiler!
This casting is the pride of Takara Tomy with the huge Tomica logo plastered over the body in style and definitely one of the must have for many collectors who love Japanese Nostalgic cars. Many collectors rejoiced when it was released because the 01 Premium Super Silhouette is a mainline with very affordable price tag and Takara Tomy will usually manufacture the mainline casting for 3-5 years before its retired. This Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette is definitely one of the iconic casting to kickstart your Tomica Premium collection and really worthwhile to collect.

Mine arrived from Japan last night, I am quarantining the box for 24 hours before opening. I’ve admired the TLV versions but thus far haven’t been able to justify the price.
