Case Report: Hot Wheels 2019 B Case

Time to check out the B Case.

Wheel Collectors just got a shipment of the second Hot Wheels Mix of 2019, and as always provided us a Case Report.  So, as is the new Lamley tradition, here are the pics in video and photo form to keep everyone happy.  The Unboxing Video will be soon.

And as is also the tradition, all of these models are available at Wheel Collectors:

  1. Decent stuff. I have some of these from the previous case already, but I’ll be on the lookout for the Mooneyes Kafer Racer, the Beetle pickup and the Audi Quattro for sure. The Mustang Mach 1 looks fantastic on the new disc wheels!

  2. That VW Bettle pickup is B.A. I will be on the lookout for it. I also believe it would also make a very cool RLC Exclusive once Van,Brendon and crew get a crack at it. Hope they do consider it.

  3. Hmm… I could have swore I already commented on this. Anyway…

A moderate amount of good, a lot of junk, but only one great car. The Sport Quattro is easily the gem of the case. So glad to see this come out so nice. I’ll also be after the 007 Mach I Mustang and the GReddy Civic. The MOMO GTI is also kind of neat as well as the Yokohama R32 Skyline. Though I would have preferred the Skyline in a clean, unadorned deco for its debut. I’m on the fence about the R33 Skyline. Not sure I care for the olive green paint choice. And as others have said, we’re reaching Skyline/GT-R overload. I do like the black/red recolor of the Fairlady 2000, but may pass on the recolored Reventón Roadster and LR Defender. I already have other colors of both. I’m a big Integra fan, but may pass on this one. That purple/yellow deco is hideous!

  4. Much to my surprise, I was able to find this batch at one of my Publix stores yesterday. The pegs were loaded with brand new B case cars with multiples of each which isn’t usually the case at Publix since there’s typically only one or two of each. Also, it threw me by surprise since Publixs within the last month or so discontinued selling Hot Wheels altogether. Almost everyone got rid of their sidekick except for a small few. This particular one I went to recently underwent a renovation and still kept their sidekick the whole time. It’s weird to see all the stores completely get rid of them and then all of a sudden one gets brand new stuff again. But hey, it worked for me since I got every single car I wanted in this batch, especially that Quattro. That thing is sweet! Also, the R34 Skyline is great to see back in that cool olive green color!
