Lamley Saturday Showcase: 2017 Hot Wheels & Matchbox Lamley Awards Best & Worst Winners

My apologies for how long this took.  I will put up a photo post this next week, but for now, here are all of your selections, from Best Licensed New Matchbox to Best and Worst HW Super TH to Best and Most Disappointing HW New Model, as well as Best Licensed Premium HW New Model.  I finish off with my selection for Model of the Year.

Let me know what you think.  Enjoy!

  1. Here’s a school of thought though, if we are limiting the awards to ‘licenced’ models only, how can Cruise Bruiser $uper etc be included (albeit in the ‘worst’ category) any ‘fantasy’ $uper is going to end up at the bottom of the pile by virtue of it being a ‘fantasy’ casting. If we are sticking to ‘licenced’ models, let’s stick to them. Just my opinion, obviously.

  2. For 2017, two of my favorite HW models are :
    – premium : Retro Entertainment Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)
    – mainline : ’70 Dodge Charger Experimotors
