Lamley Unboxing: 2018 Hot Wheels US B Case

I do Case Reports and Case Unboxings.  Hopefully most of you have seem that I try and do both.  Wheel Collectors provides the Case Reports when they get a case, and I do the Unboxings when the International and US Cases come from A&J Toys.

So, today you get both.  The International C Case Report dropped this morning, and the US B Case Unboxing drops tonight.  Look for an International C Case Unboxing soon.  Confused yet?

Mix in $uper Showcases and everything else, and hopefully whatever itch you have will get scratched.

Enjoy the Case Report.  Oops, the Unboxing.

  1. The El Viento Treasure Hunt has the TH logo on the hood slope when you remove the green top… should have to ‘unlock’ it in front by popping down the chin air dam and then pull off top piece.

  2. Why is there no number on the upper right hand corner of the SS Wagon?
I know that is normal for hunts and some times store exclusives.

  3. This case feels so old already, such is the break-neck pace these days. I’ve already found all of these that I want, except (strangely) the black Corvette Z07. The Skylines are everywhere I look, but no ‘vette, I don’t get it. I’m quickly wearying of all the super chromes….they’re the cholesterol clogging the peg-veins in every store I visit.

My (small) error collection grew by one recently when I snagged the Rally Cat missing its entire rear axle.

    1. For me, “old” only in the sense that it’s usually at least another month after I see an unboxing on Lamley that I actually find those models in store. This time I was shocked and amazed to find this case in a Walmart dump bin on the eve before what has now become Black Thursday. This wasn’t at my local Walmart mind you, Dumb bins are too good for that store, unless they are filled with something lame like Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or that awful Camo assortment. No, I had to drive out of state to find this treasure!

Case B is totally LOADED! I can’t remember the last time I walked out with that many Hot Wheels in one visit. I must have had at least 30 in all. From R30 and R33 Skylines to Datsun 620 and 240Zs to Mazdas RX-7 and MX-5. Acuras NSX and Integra both, a slew of Vetts from the ’68 Gas Monkey Special to the current Z06 convertible and C7.R racer. A pair of Porsche 911s; Turbo RSR and GT3 RS. Even an Outlaw Vee Dub racer. And lets not forget the beautifully executed Land Rover Defender or the star of this weekend’s flick Justice League, the Batmobile.

As I said, loaded. I can only hope the rest of 2018 lineup is this grand.
