Case Report: 2017 Hot Wheels Q Case

Yep, the last case of 2017.

That’s it.  Done.  Save for a few exclusives, 2017 Basic is coming to a close.  And we soon set our sites on 2018.  Of course Q has to hit stores, which it will next month (or earlier), and it is on to ’18.

But before we get all hyped up for ’18, let’s dive into the Q Case.  Wheel Collectors received their pallet today, and as always, they grabbed a case at random, and opened it 3-by-3.  Lots to like.  All the models are listed at the Wheel Collectors store:

So here we go.  Enjoy.  (Click on the photos for a larger view)

Between the new models to the case and the P Case repeats, there is a lot to like.  The new Firebird is brilliant, as is the recolor of the GT-R and Advan livery on the Fairlady.

Incidentally, the Fairlady Z is the Super, which most of you already know.  No Super in this case, but it is one I will definitely be on hunt for thumbs up.  (Shoutout to my man SamAce!)

The Regular Hunt?  The Pharadox.

It’s a nice case to be sure.  Thoughts?

  1. Thank you for the shout out congrats thumbs up. All of those new hotwheels coming out are all awesome. I will be on the hunt for all of those thumbs up.

  2. Good stuff!! I daresay this case might be deserving of the “loaded” descriptor. There are some really striking recolors here…the McLaren P1 with the sharply contrasting side scoop color looks nice, and the AMG GT looks great as well. The GT-R is extra-sinister in dark gray.

    1. Thank you for the nice comment congrats thumbs up. I always say nice things on here. I never say nothing mean. To me all of you Guy’s should stay positive just like me thumbs up.

      1. For a while there I was beginning to think you were a bot or were using some kind of google translating service that always added “thumbs up” at the end. Good to know you’re human.

  3. Hey guys, speaking of 2017 basics, the two closest WM around here have the “basics” pegs jammed with super hero series for the last month or so. Hardly any basics to be found….. Anyone else seeing that? Thankfully there have been great MB releases to fill the void.
