It is actually the Spider-Mobile. And it’s a Dune Buggy. And it is a replica of Spidey’s car from the comics way back when. And let’s be honest, Spiderman doesn’t need a car. Batman does, Spiderman doesn’t. So it is kind of lame. But lame in a cool way? Kind of like a Pinto is cool-lame?
It’s perfect for Comic-Con, and that is where it will be available. But holy cow there is something far better. Deadpool got his hands on a few, and made them so much better.
Read the note:
That is just awesome. Hot Wheels really does go all out for Comic-Con, and this is a great exclusives. Most folks will get the Spider-Mobile, but a few lucky folks will open theirs to find Deadpool was there.
I think I have made it more than clear that these movie-themed models are not my cup, but I think I might make an exception for this one. And by this one I mean the Deadpool model, my little snuggle monkeys.
You Comic-Con attendees, put some money aside.

So for those of us who don’t or can’t attend Comic Con, how can we get our hands on one? I’m not much into character cars, but the Spider Buggy and Dead Buggy are worth having. I’m not paying a ton of money on Ebay just to get one.
Sometimes they will be made available on RLC after the event, but I don’t know if there are plans for that on this one.
These will not be available through HWC/RLC.
being a manx fan, this is awesome…
love it…
will take probably a kidney to get one though…
If the mold was a Meyer Manx, Ok … but here this buggy is really ugly, and no Flat 4, no hype
