Well, the 13th Annual Matchbox Collectors International Gathering of Friends Convention is less than 4 months away. Have you made your reservations for dinner and your table? The 1st 75 dinners have long since sold out but there are more dinners and tables available.
The dinner and dealer models have selected and the E-Sheets look great. They are sure to be as popular as ever so do not miss out. Michael again has outdone himself. By the way, Michael and others will be at the event again this year. We also have registered guests from Japan, Germany, England, Australia, and Canada as well as all over the US. Our seminars are being finalized with Ali Sakariti, Harvey Ristau and Jim Reid sharing their collections and knowledge with all. The ever popular first responder display will be in the west parking lot and possible the Police Helicopter too.

Man that Sububan is perfect. I think they should do mainline versions cause I haven't even seen these in stores yet. The Alph is a great casting also. Like to see all of those made. Wasn't the BMW done in the 80s though?
P.S. John L. Thanks for responding on the other thread . I think the blog is great and have been here since I found it thorough Swifty's Garage. I check in everyday and will keep doing so. Ignorance is bliss to some but I will not let ones stupidity ruin the good things in my life. Your response showed you do care. Also what happened to customs loved that segment?
Thanks for the posting. Love the Alfa, looks good in red. Blue camouflage is a new one on me for the Sahara Sweeper. Not a bad model though.
Chris
I'm certain that want levels for the Alfa 4C will reach astonishingly stratospheric levels. Oh, and money, too. Spending will be high.
The GMT800 is looking very sharp! I would say its the best looking Supreme Heroes till now. The Ford Interceptor is looking equally nice. The livery looks simple yet realistic. If only the light bar was red, it would add more contrast and spice to the whole car.
But my favourite is, needless to say, the Alfa 4C. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD it looks amazing! Matchbox nailed it. Proportions are perfect, colour is perfect, wheels are perfect and that number plate is amazing! This shows that Matchbox still has a lot of potential… if only they stop making plastic diggers and off-road school buses and concentrate on actual cars. Anyway, I can't wait to get my hands on that Italian red beauty.
Speaking of Italians, I wish Ferrari hadn't cut the ropes with Machbox because that 456 is better than Hot Wheels and I would love if we could see more of it sometime in the future. Perhaps a dark metallic blue with chrome wheels. But that's never going to happen.
Thanks Larry for adding the Venturi 400GT! I give it quite a lot of thought before sending that one. And I shall be sending more cars shortly. Good luck with the Gathering! And good luck to all who are attending it!
One of my favorites of 2015! My hoppe is that matchbox will rise …
The alfa is perfect, the hotwheels is making wrong cars like the aston and the corvette. The transit and escort maybe will make it right
The other cars are cool, but truthfully the Alfa is the only one I'm interested in. It is very beautiful, and it is nice to know that Matchbox has done a stellar job with it.
Thank you….you send some awesome pictures of possible ideas for Matchbox.
Alfa or 1M? That is the question.
I'm with you on the Alfa Romeo 4C and the Ford Police Interceptor which in my opinion has a nice touch of blue but since I reside in Canada and in a city of more than 50,000 I may not expect to see 2015 Matchbox models till November (back in 2013 I had to wait that long for the white colored 2012 Dodge Charger police car and last November was when I was finally able to purchase a die cast model of a Matchbox school bus,BMW civilian bike,Dodge Charger Boone County Sheriff car and a Ford Police Interceptor Marshal Car.) Finally and btw another must have vehicles for Matchbox 2015 line up are the Cadillac One,GHEO rescue vehicle,BMW M5 police car or something like that and this generic BeachBuggy if they become manufactured and approved for distribution to retailers.
i would like to follow the Lamly group by e-mail. Regards
