Let’s be honest, this is one ugly-ass car.
It looks like an airplane mated with a jellyfish and then half-ate a Lamborghini. But I don’t think looks are the key here. The car doesn’t really need to look good. You just need to remember it. And I think that is accomplished.
Lamborghini created three Venenos off the Aventador platform to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. This mini version is a replica of Car Zero, which Lambo retained. The other two went to two very wealthy buyers. I am not one of those buyers, nor would I have been in the market if I have the money. The car is too hard to look at.
But I am sure glad I have the 1:64 version. Kyosho nailed it, and to me, as significant as the Veneno is, adding one to the collection was a no-brainer. It is just too good a model to NOT have it. And a lot of people agree. It sold out at Daboxtoys in minutes.

Lamborghini didnt retain any of the cars: two went to US buyers (Miami investor and Long Island Lamborghini dealership owner) and one went to Middle East.
That is one ugly car. But then again, I haven't cared for most modern Lamborghinis. Last one I really liked was the Diablo SV.
The white one isn't bad, though.

It is funny, they do almost hurt to look at, but the design just screams with energy. It looks like an arc of lightning. kyosho did a very good job.
I wouldn't call it ugly, but it definitely isn't pretty. But that's part of what makes it so cool, the form following function, with a style not meant to win a beauty contest but shout in your face and punch you in the gut. I wasn't a huge fan of the Reventon, but this one is so over the top that its hard not to at least appreciate it even if you wouldn't want to park it in your garage. I like the real car but its far from my favorite, but this is definitely one of my favorite Kyosho's. it's one of those I have to keep picking up and admiring the intricacies of.
As for the real car, there were four made. One did go to Lamborghini as John mentioned, and the other three were sold as mentioned in the first comment.

Car Zero is the show car, which Lambo has retained to be displayed at their museum. The other 3 were sold to their customers. And each of the 3 features a colour of the Italian flag stripes: red, white and green. The colours are shown as the colour highlights on the skirtings around the car.
Stunning, but eh I don't know about you or anyone else, but for me it looks thunder machined. You know what I mean? Doesn't seem really spectacular like a gem, but it feels so pain that everyone calls the Veneno ugly that Lamborghini did such hard work on making their next Lamborghini. Is it just me or is it because this is the ugliest Lamborghini model ever made? Or is it just because the other Italian car manufacturers like Alfa Romeo and Ferrari and the other Lamborghini models (like the Gallardo, Diablo, Murcielago, Sesto Elemento, or Reventon) are being “most likely picked”? I'm not freaking out, but I'm just saying about the pain saying the Veneno is a BOO. But me, I'm not being tough onto this car but I like it better than just saying more “UGLY UGLY UGLY”.
Focusing on the Kyosho Veneno, the white and grey colors look terrific. Even when I'm not really a fan of heavy metal hyper cars, the Veneno is one of the toughest hyper cars along with the new LaFerrari, the Pagani Huayra, Zonda, and the other hyper cars that come along to race this car. But I'm really looking forward to see Hot Wheels do a Veneno.
I forgot to say, and this model is also celebrating Lamborghini's 50th anniversary.
Well I understand that it being a Lamborghini, it needed to be aggressive in its design language. But this one is complete overkill. WAY too much going on. But then again, they only made four of them, so at least there aint too many out there uglying up the road. That is, if they even get taken out for a spin at all.
