2013 Lamley Awards Poll: What was the best Hot Wheels Super TH in 2013?

It is that time of year again.  The 2013 Hot Wheels line is essentially in the books (save a slew of backordered RLC models), so it is time to vote for the Best and Worst of 2013.  It is time for the 2nd Annual Lamley Awards!

But first we need your votes, starting with the Best Super TH of 2013.  There are several places to vote, and all will be counted (you can only vote once), so read the details below and get your vote in before it closes…

Between now and the end of the day on Monday November 4th, this first poll will be open.  You can see it to your right at the top of the sidebar, or you can follow the link below:

Lamley Awards Best Super TH Poll

Place your vote and you are done.  But still tell your friends to vote!

When the poll closes on the 4th, we will start a new poll.  There will be roughly 7 polls, all lasting about 5 days, so that should give everyone a chance to vote.  When all the polls are complete, we will announce both the Lamley Readers and Lamley Staff selections.

Today we start with the heavy hitters – the Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunts.  No models are more sought after than the Supers.  They make grown men and women visit way too many Walmarts, wake up way too early, and waste way too much gas.  They also make every collector skip a heartbeat whenever they come across one, whether they like the model or not.

So with that amount of attention, there are bound to be opinions.  Some you like, some you hate, but you have an opinion.  So share it.

Today you get to pick your favorite.

And if you need a refresher, here are the 2013 Supers, in order of release:

’72 Ford Gran Torino Sport

’09 Corvette ZR1

’73 Ford Falcon XB

’71 El Camino

’10 Ford Shelby GT-500 Super Snake

’64 Buick Riviera

Bone Shaker

’62 Corvette

Toyota 2000GT

’72 Ford Ranchero

’69 Camaro

’67 Camaro

 ’10 Toyota Tundra

’07 Ford Mustang

’71 Dodge Demon

  1. Hard to pick when you have two models tie for your favorite super.

Well I ultimately voted for the 2000GT but I'd love to give a shout out to the 07 Mustang as well. They were both the cream of the crop this year in my opinion.

  2. I can appreciate that the 2000GT is helping pull treasure hunts away from the typical muscle car only approach. Though for me I was torn between the ZR1, Falcon, and El Camino… the El Camino won! The combination of the gold wheels and that fact that it is still the king of the hill when it comes to cars with pickup beds… or is it a pickup with a attached cab? 😛

  3. Earlier today, I had voted for the 2000GT, but not just because everybody else did. Admittedly, it was a toss-up between that, the ZR1, and the '69 Camaro for me. However, it was just something about the 2000GT though, being a little bit different from the rest while providing the sheer beauty of its gorgeously- sculpted physique.

  4. I'm going for the ZR1. I know the 2000GT is winning, DUH.
Why I vote the corvette ZR1 is because it is a 60th anniversary celebration for the corvette this year (same with matchbox), and of course, t=it's the fastest muscle car.

  5. It's a little hard to see the black stripe thing on the 2000GT because the red color is dark or it's a cherry red color.

  6. I actually voted the 20000GT after I voted the ZR1. So, so…

Now I'm helping the ZR1 first because too much of the 2000GT is going to be the most popular TH and Japanese car that is ever made from whoever designer from hot wheels, DUH, DUH

    LOL

  7. '07 Mustang. The 2000GT possibly could have taken first place if the wheels were chrome. The “dark” look is more appropriate for the customizing genre now not then.
    Show the BLING !!

  8. Today right now I voted the Super Snake, 07' mustang, and the Tundra. Getting to all famous Toyota, you have to stop already. Is that all the people? Let's see who's gonna win next year.

WHO'S IN THE BATTLE NEXT YEAR!?
