First Look: Hot Wheels Cars of the Decades ’69 Corvette…

Another new release to show off.  I don’t pick up all of the Decades cars, only those that jump off the pegs into my hands.  In this latest batch, this Vette and the Viper stood out.  The Silverado was not there, or might have jumped off the pegs as well.  Maybe later.

I have mentioned here that I am not much of a Corvette fan.  I have always maintained that I respect a Vette, but just don’t like them.  Watching what I am adding to my collection, I think it makes more sense that I am not an 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s Corvette fan.  That must be the case because I keep adding older and brand new Vettes to the collection.  And here is another.

I do leave some, as there was a mid-70’s Vette in the same batch that I did not pick up.  It just didn’t look good sitting next to this ’69 Vette.  And this Corvette looks really good.  I am digging the black roof and ornate design that reminds me of the pants I wore as a kid.  Don’t ask me why…

  1. I don't shop at Walmart. Too bad, because this has the PERFECT look. Soooooo late 60s/70s and soooo cool. What was gross a few years ago is now cool. Those seventies street machines, with the panel painting and side pipes, are just plain awesome.
