It’s May 5th which means it’s the Cinco De Mayo edition of the 5-Pack! Not a lot of holidays/celebrations fall on Mondays, so we’ll take any extra Monday happiness that comes our way!

- Greenlight Drops Special Cinco De Mayo Announcement
Earlier today Greenlight posted up a special collab release in conjunction with Cinco De Mayo celebrations.
The uniquely designed ’64 Impala lowrider and Dodge Ram/enclosed trailer trio below was penned by Sergio Rocha (aka Big Roach) as part of an exclusive Hispanic Heritage Month release. All three will be released exclusively through GL hobby dealers sometime later this year — and I for one am especially eyeing that beautiful Impala!

2. Hot Wheels Brick Drops Sell Out
Last week I posted an article on the newly announced Hot Wheels Brick Shop collab and the sets ended up selling out almost as quick as they were posted…and immediately the secondary market pounced.

As soon as the words “sold out” were posted on the Brick Shop website, eBay started to pop-off with some pretty wild prices — especially for the top-tier Premium Series 300 SL, where prices are already climbing towards the $400 mark. How high will they go? Nobody knows, but it seems the Brick Sets are already popular months before they hit collector’s mailboxes.
3. IT’S DIECAST, B*TCH!
I’m a HUGE fan of Hollywood diecast releases and this past weekmundopremium64.oficial dropped an especially dope release….
The Breaking Bad Pontiac Aztek

The ugly-but-beautiful Fern Green-colored Pontiac with the cult following is getting painstakingly recreated by GOC diecast — even down to the missing hubcap. According the the Mundo post, the car will be limited to 1299 and is dropping basically now (or may have already been released at the time of this article). So hit up your favorite global diecast shop to snag one of your own.
4. More Muscle for your Muscle Truck Collection
AutoWorld (Round2forYou on Youtube) previewed their latest Squarebody release – a custom 1981 Silverado for their Muscle Trucks line:

The tan-over-desert stripes is a classic off-road look, but this version features their lowered chassis and sport wheels. It keeps the pushbar and rollbar of the off-road version as well, making for a very unique take on a muscle truck. BOLO for these trucks at hobby stores only as it is a limited release!
5. Curb Service
Tomorrow Hot Wheels drops one of the most elegant RLC releases to date: the 1964 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Limo

The stunning Mercedes features two sets of opening doors, Spectraflame steel blue paint, and deep tan interior.
It drops at 9am PST on May 6th, so be sure to re-up your RLC memberships so you don’t miss out on this spectacular release.
