Matchbox Monday finishes 2024. Completely!

This is it. My last blog report.

Oh, wait, I needed to carry on that sentence. My last report on 2024 items. I’m not giving them up yet. This finishes off everything that I will be reviewing from the 2024 model year. The last half of batch M, which was kindly shipped over by Wheel Collectors, as I never saw them in the UK. And, as half of them never rolled over into batch A of 2025 (which was readily available in the UK), I could not have completed them without the guys at Wheel Collectors’ help. I also added in a little bonus model, as there was a Toy Fair to showcase 2025 product, and a special model was given away. I decided to add it to this report, as a way to bridge the gap between years. As always, the report will go live on the Wheel Collectors website, and if you click here, it will take you to my Matchbox Monday blog page on their site. I hope you enjoy my latest ramblings.

  1. Proving really HTF that Mk2 Fiesta, but then I would far rather find the Metro 6R4 rally model by HWs anyway.
My first car was a Fiesta but the Mk3 which closely resembled a Renault 5/LeCar.
I’m only looking for it because it’s a Ford

  2. Now that the 2024 is over, i must say i’m quite happy with my die-cast achievements that year. Sure i still miss some models i wanted to buy e.g. Lincoln Continental or Ford Anglia, Vw Beetle Buggy, as they never made it to the stores with those models, such a shame. December was pure magic though for a change – Basics last batches were there 🙂 Moving Parts and Collectors as well so 2024 ended richly for me i must confess. I have Matchbox Basic batches L and M and i feel fulfilled 🙂 I just wish it was always like that, but something is telling me it was because of Christmas, shops usually counts big profits during that time ! Moments like that makes die-cast collecting so sweet !
