Is there a more iconic color for the LBWK F40 than this deep blue from Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 ? I’ve been waiting for this one for a while even if as you know me, LBWK is not particularly my cup of tea. But this Pilot #56 blue F40 has something special.
The model is very well highlighted on a white base with a kind of texture. The front cardboard is not particularly interesting compared to the back with an amazing art of the real car. The LBWK F40 is a model car you begin getting to know well and there is not need to develop again and again about it. Let’s just remind the model won the Lamley Awards model of the year. In my opinion, this blue version is a one to have. You can find it on eBay easily.
The silver chrome is a demonstration of how painting can be a real challenge and how some model makers do it well. I like it pretty much, more than the black chrome. You basically can go everywhere you want with those kit cars, so why not this amazing paint. Enough about talking, let’s look at pictures. And see you soon for more Inno64 articles.
