The hottest Sierra you’ve ever seen: Bathurst 1000 Tooheys 1988 (Inno64)

And what a year! 1988 is my year of birth, and I truly believe that we have waited enough to have 90’s cars in 1/64 scale. This time has come, among many manufacturers, with Hot Wheels as a leader. Some other premium brands are in too, and I cannot be happier.

This model is a Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth made by Inno64 is a pure nugget. And not only because it’s yellow. And not only because it’s Liqui Moly Bathurst 12h this weekend while I’m writing this article. It is because it is the hottest Sierra I’ve ever seen in this scale, with a STUNNING livery. I am totally honest with you , I had not this livery in mind but how cool it is ? it is quite unexpected because Inno64 being based in Macau, we surely had in mind Macau Grand Prix liveries, or famous BTCC or Spa Belgium liveries.

The car is coming with a Benson&Hedges water decal sheet (tobacco brand, that were also sponsor on Jordan F1 cars in the period) you have to put yourself (missing on my model, I will have one complete soon).

The yellow base plate is very nice. It has black inscriptions matching the car.
Metal base and roller, if you ask.

This is an Australia Special Edition, and I don’t know how it will hit the market. I guess all distributors were able to get it, so grab one while you can. This is surely one of the most exiting 1:64 model of the year. To me, this Tooheys 1000 enters my top 5 Inno models so far.
