Tomica Limited Vintage is just bringing it, and the R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R Autech is proof…

Tomica Limited Vintage just announced the June 2017 batch, and once again – if you are into TLV – it is loaded.

On the heels of the Mazda Cosmo debut comes a Police version that looks amazing.  Their popular 4-door Hakosuka Skyline is also there, in two new colors (that makes seven!).  Even Nissan Cedric and Gloria Gran Turismo editions.

I am excited for all of those, but my guess is the Nissan Skyline GT-R Autech and its police counterpart are going to create the most buzz.  And deservedly so.  TLV loves to surprise, and this special 4-door edition of the R33 Skyline to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 1998 is certainly that.  All the detail is there, and those wheels!

There is a police version as well.  I have no idea if that is also considered an Autech edition – you guys can fill me in – but it is equally as nice, also with a load of detail.

You may not want all these cars, but that Autech R33?  Yeah, you might.

  1. John,

The police version of the R33 would also be considered an Autech, seeing as only the Autech R33 4-doors were GT-Rs, the only true 4-door GT-R officially offered up for sale (~447 units, only sold in '98 IIRC)
