Kmart Collector Days is here again.
There are three a year, or three a season, depending on how you look at it. For me, the run starts in September with this event, then November before Thanksgiving and ends with the February event.
Of course, with all the Kmart closings of late, you start to wonder what the future of Kdays is. Obviously there are much bigger problems to worry about with those closings, but since this is a diecast blog…
At least Kmart allows you to order cases online, and that is exactly what I did. The case arrived today, and of course I had to do an unboxing. The video is below.

I got the exact same case code and with the same mix of cars including the 3 vettes and one firebird.
Well, that just saved me some money! Guess I'll pay ebay prices for the Bronco and call it a win.
I got 2 QB cases also. Both had 3 C7.Rs and 1 '73 Firebird.
I got the A assortment and there is a bit of a difference in the case assortments. I was bummed I didn't get a 180SX in my case.
Got my cases today, one 93XYQA and one 93XYQB They are both Q case carded cars. The 93XYQA case had not one super or regular treasure in it. The 93XYQB case had one treasure hunt and I ended up with 3 of the Corvette C7.R – HW Race Team (White) and only 1 of the '73 Pontiac Firebird – Muscle Mania (Red). I know it is not guaranteed but when I ordered these cases in the past I've always received 2 each of the exclusive colors.
