Wow wow wow wow wow…
There are some models that just make you happy to be a diecast collector. Words like “rare” are thrown out the window, the chase for chase models becomes moot, and you just sit and appreciate a true diecast gem.
That is exactly the case with the brand new Greenlight Futureliner. I will save all I want to say about this until I actually have it in hand to feature, but let’s just say, even this early, this is one of the diecast highlights of 2016.
You can read about it here, and then try not convince yourself to grab one from Wheel Collectors, along with the rest of the new batch of Greenlight, including new Hitch & Tow:

The model is beautiful, and heavy. It was the first thing the gang at Wheel Collectors noticed when they unpacked their pallet:
Good looks and good quality. I’m excited. Feature coming soon…
I have a really nice 1/64 version made by Norev of France from a few years ago. I wonder if they used the same casting?
First the Fleetwood Bounder, now this? Greenlight's been knocking it out of the park lately! Fingers crossed the side opens
They did.
It will be a nice model then. Also, it's a lot cheaper than the French model. I paid $40 for mine, although there's some nutty seller asking $300 for them on ebay.
I have the Norev as well. Ordered a GL version for a spare. It is a really nice piece for anyone's collection.
