It is time! Registration for the 14th Matchbox Collectors Gathering of Friends starts tonight…

Friends, here is something for your to-do list tonight.

After popping a little bubbly, watching Seacrest, and singing that song about acquaintances being forgotten or whatever, head over to your computer or phone and register for the 14th Matchbox Gathering of Friends Convention that is happening this July.

Tonight, January 1, 2016, at 12:00 AM Mountain Standard Time, registration for the Gathering begins.  If you have been a Lamley Reader for awhile, you know what the Gathering is.  It is the definitive Matchbox Event every year.  Collectors from all over the world gather to trade and chat and sell and buy and just hang out.  Also, the Matchbox Design and Marketing Teams attend and preview all of what is coming in 2017.

Word on the street is that is event will the best yet.  Michael Heralda once again designed the logo.  The new Matchbox Team is ready to share all kinds of cool stuff, including the entire 2017 lineup.  Another reason to attend is the amazing Convention models.  Matchbox pulls out all the stops with the exclusives, and while the models planned for this event are under lock-and-key, I have been told that these will be in HIGH demand the second they are unveiled.

The event is scheduled for July 15-17, 2016, at the Albuquerque Marriott in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I promise it is worth the trip, and I hope to see many of you there.  So get signed up, send the payment in, and get it on your calendar.  Bring the spouse too, and promise him or her a trip up to Santa Fe.

So why is it important to know that registration begins tonight?  Because, as always, the first 75 registrants will qualify for the special 1 of 75 variant on the Dinner Model.  Think awesome Dinner Model, only better and more rare.  You will want this one.

Registration starts at midnight, 31, December, Mountain Standard Time.

2016 Event dates are 15-17 July 2016.

That time is almost here for the 2016 Matchbox International Gathering of Friends Convention Registration.  Come join the Mattel Matchbox Design team and many of the top collectors from around the world.  I have been hard at work with Mattel and the models have been selected and designs are being finalized. We will release pictures of the models before the event this year.  They will only be available at the event.  We are trying to take this event to the next level and hope you will be here to participate.  See you all in July.

Please no early registration.  Details are below as to when you can register.

Registration starts at midnight, 01 January Mountain Standard Time.  Dinners are $80 and tables $45.  If using Pay Pal dinners are $84 and tables $47.25.  Pay Pal ID is matchb0x1@aol.com
