Whoa!! Have you seen the new Greenlight Nissan GT-R and the new Black Bandit Series?

Alright, to borrow a phrase from the kids, this set is money.

Greenlight has just released Series 13 of their very popular Black Bandit Series, and this one is bound to be popular.  Wheel Collectors has it, and is offering the models at a great price:

The model that will get the most attention?  Undoubtedly the brand new 2015 Nissan GT-R.  Based on the photo in the listing, it looks to be nicely done.  I would have to compare it to the TLV versions, but black-on-black with black rims looks fantastic here.

But there are other gems as well, notably the VW Type 2 Westfalia and a plethora of pickups, new and old.  Even one, the C10, has a camper.  It is really nice to see this series branching out a bit more, and not being too reliant on Mustangs and Camaros.  I see this Series being a hit.

There are other new Greenlights at the Wheel Collectors eBay Store as well, including two Hobby Dealer exclusives that will not be in stores.  The “Unrestored” Airstream Bambi is a must-have.

I am loving these models, and cannot wait to showcase them.  What is on your list?

  1. It seems like they're releasing a Black Bandit of the 1973 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia Camper awfully soon after the Black Bandit of the 1968 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus. If I had known the former was coming soon, I don't know if I would have bought the latter, which is still pretty nice but it doesn't have the roof or the “jalousie” louvred side windows.

  2. The quality of the Black Bandit Nissan GT-R was very disappointing. As a TLV collector, I had adjusted my expectation out of GL Nissan GT-R, but detailing was bit rough & it didn't even arrive in mint condition out of the blister. It reminded me of factory reject.

Still, I ended up on here while looking for information on their new “Police” GT-R. lol
