Sitting here sad that I am not at JCCS this year, but I can least pass on some news that should interest most of you.
Hot Wheels Designer Jun Imai is at the show, and the word is he brought some goodies to show off to attendees. Thankfully though, he is also throwing those of us not attending a bone by previewing the upcoming Mazda RX-3 over at Japanese Nostalgic Car. We don’t want to steal their thunder, so head on over there to see the pics and get all the details. You are sure to like what you see…
This news alone is exciting enough, and we can’t wait to see how this develops. If there is more info we will be sure to pass it along…
Looks a bit wonky. Fenders make the car look wider than it is long.
it will be a perfect companion to the SA22C RX7 from a couple years ago domo arigato imai san i and countless other mazdafarians thank you
I'm so happy that hot wheels is finally making an RX-3.My Grandpa used to own a black RX-3 and for the longest time I have been wanting to make a 1:64 scale replica of it.
I will add one to my collection. But I would have liked a more stock appearing Savannah.
Very nice car. Can someone please suggest to Mr Imai to make a 90 Miata with a hardtop!!
It's a Hot Wheels, not a Matchbox, so some “artistic license” is to be expected.
Are those new wheels for jdm classic models?
Wow, awesome model, of course, but I think the even bigger news is the appearance of those sweet new wheels
Those wheels are sooo hot! Will need a bucket full of them to customize everything from ae86s to 510s, 620s, etc.
My guess is that they're based on Brandon Ozaki's collection.
