Just Unveiled: Kyosho OEM Toyota 86 DMC exlusives in Panda white and red, as well as other new releases…

Another jump in to let you know of a set of two models that we cannot be more excited about. Felix over at Daboxtoys finally has in hand the brand new DMC exclusive Kyosho OEM set of two Toyota 86’s.

The Kyosho OEM factory, as we collectors have dubbed it (how weird is it to have a brand of 1:64 scale models that really don’t have a name?), produces sets of somewhere between 6 and 12 models, all the same car in different colors. We have featured several here, including the Pagani Huayra, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911, VW Beetle, and VW T1 Transporter.

The factory continues to produce at a frantic pace, and Daboxtoys is set to receive the Lamborghini Aventador, Lamborghini LP670-4, and Ferrari 458 GT2 sets next week. 6 colors each, which you can buy as a set or individually. Keep checking in with Daboxtoys’ store or Facebook page to know when then arrive.

As much as we are excited about those three new sets, the models we are most excited about are the OEM’s Toyota 86’s. Those sets should be arriving soon, with models with and without the spoiler. But Felix already has in hand the exclusives the factory produced to celebrate Daboxtoy’s 10th Anniversary. And fantastic models they are.

The exclusives pay homage to the original Toyota AE86 with panda deco, sporting a black pinstripe and lower section, and highlighted with black rims. We at Lamley were very honored to be invited to help in the development of the design, along with Ben Hsu, the editor-in-chief over at Japanese Nostalgic Car and an expert on the AE86. We love how it turned out, and cannot wait to get our examples in hand.

But don’t wait for us to show it off. By the time we have them, they could be long gone. The factory only produced 99 of each model, so they will go very fast.
