Just because it is Gathering week doesn’t mean we have to ignore the blue brand, especially when I received in the mail today a wheel variation on one of my favorite models.
That model, the Datsun Bluebird 510, has produced a handful of good wheel variations, and it may becoming clear now to you readers that I am a bit of a sucker for wheel varis on my favorite models. If the factory puts different wheels on a model like the Datsun, I promise you I will make a run at it.
In this case, they took the 2012 FTE2 recolor in grey, put J5 wheels on it, and put it in Australian 20-packs. A good friend of mine from Down Under, Graeme Coulter, quickly informed me of his find, and a trade was offered and completed a couple of days later.

And that makes four sets of wheel variations (the rarest of which is easily the black FE with 5sp wheels. I know of less than five):
