It’s not one but two new castings at once. Kit cars and tuning parts are not done yet, it seems. They are still very popular, and probably good sellers in 1/64. So why to stop ?

As a consequence, Asian brands, mostly, are reducing more and more of them, like Inno64. A new Toyota GR86 Pandem, and a new Mazda RX-7 FC3S have just been made, and the latter seems to be very popular.
I’m not particularly fond of these cars, as you probably know, and I try to appreciate them on the execution side. And it works, I have the feeling that the yellow GR86 is very desirable, while I hate the GR86 and I absolutely don’t care about Pandem !

Joke aside, the color is very attractive, such as the details : wheel arches, front radiator, kind of black grill with holes on the side … you name it.

The Mazda RX-7 FC3S is more or less exactly the same in my approach : a car I don’t particularly like, in a kit fashion I don’t like. What about the execution then ? It’s good, I mean, very good. Shiny wheels, roller, detailed exhausts, double rear wing, and it is licensed, if you care about this kind of subject. The front additional headlights are not exactly super detailed, but it’s OK.

What is pleasant with Inno64 is their capability to produce a new model and straight away propose two or more versions. The white and the purple models are different in subtiles details : exhausts, wheels, interior details. Both models have very nice rear clear window with super fine defroster. The interior of the white version is really impressive. It seems the purple one is more popular than the white, but my preference is clearly for the white.

Finally, the Mazda RX-3 “Savanna” gets a new version in a “Katayama” tribute livery. When legend meets tuning (…) The model is tiny though very detailed. It’s true to 1/64. All these models can be found on eBay.
