Matchbox Monday works through a very high new casting H batch

Eight models, 5 of them are new castings. This is a very fresh looking batch of Matchbox cars. I am really surprised at the ratio of new vs older in the mix. Not that I am complaining. As is the usual case, this batch was supplied to me by Wheel Collectors in the USA. Thanks guys. So, as is the norm, I return the favour by posting the article directly on their website. If you click here, it will take you to the Matchbox Monday blog section of their site. Of course, feel free to nose around and buy a few things. I hope you enjoy my latest batch of ramblings. BTW, my Target Red that accompanies this batch didn’t reach me in time, so I will be throwing that in a later report.

  1. We are as likely to see this in The Entertainer as we would see Lord Lucan riding horseback on Shergar on aisle 3.

    1. Depending on which Entertainer, they are selling Power Grab boxes at £3 each (I don’t know why they are more expensive), and I have seen this at the one store. I have even seen later singles in blister, still on 3 for 2 offer at £2.40. The Entertainer is looking at moving forward, slowly, store by store.

  2. Regarding 2025 Dodge Charger… Something telling me Matchbox version will be the biggest seller of them all, which is kinda sad when thinking about future of Dodge, which includes real Dodge Charger too, oh and btw 2025 Dodge Charger EV – good luck with that. The only way to sell it is with traditional engines, not the electric nonsense.
