Matchbox Monday sees a very German looking Collectors batch

So near, yet so far. My box from Leipzig is still on its way over to me. So, my planned look at what was done for the event has been pushed back another week. So, in lieu of those premium issues, I decided to showcase Collectors Batch C. Wheel Collectors have just sent this over to me. I was contemplating another dive back of older items as I had nothing new to showcase. But, I have 3 sets of items in the box, and with Leipzig stuff due imminently, I am going to be okay for a few more weeks. Hopefully more new stuff is looming to continue the streak. There are still many 2024 items due. If you click here, it will take you directly to my Matchbox Monday page. I hope you enjoy my latest ramblings.

  1. It’s a nice stuff for sure but the thing is … Most of the Matchbox cars line-up is never there. 2022 was somewhat alright, 2023 was less abundant still was able to get most of the stuff, atleast 1-100 models were there. 2024 is awful, Matchbox is barely visible at the stores, mostly stuff that didn’t sell. Collecting is not cool at this point 🙁 I’m unable to collect new Matchbox models, ofcourse You might say buy online, but i prefer retail stores, also it’s cheaper that way and i can buy more models for less + fun with hunting die-cast.

Look… It’s really weird what’s going on with the distribution, what’s even more weird Mattel is blind to that problem, there are more market not just U.S.A, we in Europe matter too, all i’m saying Mattel should recognise better distribution in more markets equals more profit.
