I want candy! This was a song by The Strangeloves in 1965. It was successful in the USA and Canada, but in the UK, Brian Poole & The Tremeloes recorded a cover later in the year, which saw some success. However, those of us in the UK who are old enough may remember Bow Wow Wow in the 1980s, who were the most successful with their cover in 1982. There have been further covers by the likes of Aaron Carter, Melanie C and The Candy Girls. So, why am I talking about a song? Well, this week’s blog is all about the 2nd Candy batch of 2024. The first batch was a carry forward of a set from 2020, but batch B is all new. Both sets have been available on the Wheel Collectors website, and they sent them all over for me to enjoy.
