Matchbox Monday moves along into batch C

I love Moving Parts. These are often my most anticipated batches from Matchbox. As always, Wheel Collectors have been extremely helpful in getting these over to me, as the UK still struggles to get them. However, I am hearing that later this year, they should be a little better with availability. We will see where they start turning up. As always, I have posted my latest blog report over on their site, and if you click here, you will be taken to my Matchbox Monday page. I hope you enjoy the read. There are a lot of new castings this time, but it did give me a chance to do a little classic dive back in to my collection.

This was a part of a UK press release for the debut of the Mattel Creations Mercedes-Benz G580 EQ.

  1. I have mine Matchbox Moving Parts 1978 Ford Bronco, bought it last month, what a lovely model i tell You, this was love from the very first sight, i see great potential for this model in the future, for both Moving Parts as well as Collectors Edition. I was hunting for Amc Javelin too, without luck though 🙁 Bronco is the only 2024 model i could hunt to this day, such a shame the distribution is… pretty much dead, shops are either full of peg warmers from 2022-2023 or provides nothing at all. Majorette, on the other hand is thriving which is a good thing for a change, they’re having Anniversary this year, a milestone if You will, so they’re here and abundantly so, everything You want from Majorette for 2024 is here. Im highly impressed of their 60th Anniversary models. My points is… If Majorette is that successful, Matchbox can be too. I wish them all the best ! Both Majorette and Matchbox deserve huge success. I’m a Matchbox guy in the first place, always was, always will be 🙂 Best regards to Sir David Tilley and Sir Craig Tetlow.
