Inno64 news at Hobby Expo China 2024

It’s this time of the year. Hobby Expo China 2024 is live and I thought it would be nice to show you some news the brand is showcasing. You might have seen it here and there on Instagram, and some photos related here are from information accounts such as Mundopremium64 and Theminiaturemanual. Others are directly pictures that Fransisco (Inno64 boss) sent me.

Many Asian cars are obviously showcased and we can note a bunch of LBWK future castings such as the (McLaren) 720S, a vintage RX-3, the FD3S RX-7 that is very new and also a car you can buy during the event (with a chase). Let’s also spot the Nissan 370Z LBWK and the R35. The cool thing is when every single LBWK will be done, we will be able to move forward. Joke aside, LBWK fans and collectors will be happy to have many new models to add to their collection.

On the more traditional side, Inno64 is showing recolors of the Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R, the KPGC110 in racing livery, the R32 in red and recolors of the R34 in Mine’s. The R35 will be treated with a lot of care with a very nice trio of 50th anniversary colors and Nismo variations. Can’t wait.

Pure new models are shown here too such as the Mitsubishi Evo 1 and a drift car R32. The Toyota MR2 will also be a huge highlight in the next coming months. A strange but good looking prototype of the Mazda Savanna RX-3 (wagon) Mad Mike D1GP will also be tooled. A 1/18 version will be tooled in resin too.

Finally, on the resin side, let’s make a warm welcome to a Group C monster car : the Nissan R89C, with an opening engine hood! This is damn hot! All these cars will be available in a few months, or more. You can pre-order some on eBay at your favorite seller.

See you soon for more Inno64 reviews!

  1. Thanks for the review! I’m thrilled with the LBWK (and Skyline heavy) direction they are heading towards – even though the Mazda wagon and the 370Z are welcome. I wondered what happened to some of models Inno64 showed at earlier shows, but did not make it to production (at least not yet). I think there was a Civic EG6, a Toyota Celica (rally), a Renault 5, a Nissan 180sx (or 240sx), a modern Land Rover etc. I’d also love to see them do a BMW 3-series street car/tuner car (they have the casting) and some more street car Honda Accords (with the existing tool).
