Matchbox Monday digs the D Batch Collector

As we get to the end of the 2023 Matchbox year, my latest blog report will be looking at the final Collectors batch of the year. Batch D has given us a few amazing new castings, and the return of an icon. As always, I am posting this over at the Wheel Collectors website. They were very helpful in supplying me with the batch to review. Thanks guys. If you want, you can click here to go to my Matchbox Monday page on their blog. I hope you like the latest report.

      1. I’ve also spotted this mix along with new Moving Parts in a few independent toy shops as well. At least two of the main UK toy importers/distributor offer them to the trade. Yet again its our lazy big name retailers who won’t stock them!

  1. We have Action stores here in Poland, they sell some Matchbox stuff like Power Grabs, i got lucky today : bought some models including 1965 Ford C900, Field Car and Renault Kangoo but no Volvo 240 or Australian Holden 🙁 Volvo must be very popular thus it’s scarce, anyways Action stores are located in many countries including United kingdom and France, i’m so glad i’ve found out Action stores, my biggest hope for 2024 model year. Series such as Moving Parts or Collectors are unavailable anyway. The only one available throughout year is 1-100 series.
Thanks to Action stores i now have more chances to buy basics models.
