Lamley Interview: Mini GT Director Glen Chou talks brand direction and previews 2021

Season 2 of my Lamley IG Live series continues with a very informative chat with Glen Chou of Mini GT. Give Glen some supreme credit for his candidness and transparency with collectors. Just a few days before the interview Glen released a list of cancelled/replaced castings, which is typically unheard of, just to keep us all updated. And in the interview he talks about all of it, plus where he wants to see the brand go in 2021. I enjoyed the chat, as always, and I hope you do too. This is far beyond the “hey look at this model coming!” and delves more into the business, which I hope you enjoy.

(But there is still a ton of “hey look at this model coming” just to keep floating that boat.)

  1. Awaiting my first Mini GT: the McLaren Senna in purple/yellow. And I need ALL those Porsches. Of every Mini GT model I’ve seen in pictures, the stances are spot on. To me, it’s stance that really separates a replica from a toy. I also appreciate the fact that they all have a metal chassis. Excited to see what these guys can do.
